Step 2: You’re ready to start your Barclays Code Playground club.

Step 3: Organise staffing within your school for the sessions. Make sure you follow your school rules regarding afterschool clubs, such as DBS requirements, etc.

Step 4: We’d love to know how you get on with your Barclays Code Playground club, please do send us any feedback, pictures or videos to codeplayground@barclays.com and tag us in on social media, just search ‘Digital Eagles’

Equipment for your club

As long as you have access to either desktops or laptops, and a good internet connection, you shouldn’t need anything extra to run a Barclays Code Playground code club. Our online sessions are best displayed on a projector or a smart board for easier viewing in a classroom setting.

Here’s a link to the free Scratch platform we use for our sessions.

Making your code club great

Once you’ve registered your club with us, we’ll send you a welcome email, along with some resources for you to use to make your sessions a success.
